FAQs
How are Mercari fees calculated?

Mercari charges a flat 10% selling fee on the item and shipping price. To work out what you keep, subtract that fee, your cost of goods, and any shipping you pay from the sale price. This calculator does the math for you when you click Calculate.

How much does Mercari take from a $100 sale?

On a $100 sale, Mercari's 10% selling fee is $10, which leaves you $90. Your actual profit is that $90 minus what you paid for the item and any shipping you cover.

Does Mercari charge fees on shipping?

In this calculator, the 10% fee applies to the product price only. Enter any shipping you pay as the seller in the Shipping Cost field. It is subtracted from your profit, not added to the fee.

Does Mercari charge listing or subscription fees?

No. Listing an item on Mercari is free and there is no monthly subscription. You only pay the selling fee when an item sells.
